The 18-hole course was designed by the president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, William H. Diddel in 1925. This course takes full advantage of the natural terrain, and obstacles have been enhanced to retain the original design by Diddel but are also adapted to conform to modern-day standards.

The course was restored in 2005 to showcase its exquisite Midwestern terrain, and later in 2019 a completed full bunker restoration of the green complex feature on their signature 18th hole. This all-inclusive course features landscape scenery, on-course amenities, and championship tees that contribute to the unique experience. 

Events

The diverse calendar of events at Ruth Lake Country Club will have something to pique the interest of the whole family.
