Nathan Jennison

Awarded Broker of the Year for 2023 by NAMB (National Association of Mortgage Brokers).

Nathan is the managing broker and founder of The Mortgage Architects, as well as a partner at Independent Mortgage Brokers. He is passionate about helping people get on the property ladder because of the difference it makes in families, communities and generations. Nathan is known for closing when other lenders cannot and at record speed. He loves to answer questions and to educate people on the process and options. He has offices in both Chicago and Denver and enjoys time in both places along with his amazing wife and children.

Raluca Berry

Raluca Berry is a licensed loan officer who brings 19+ years of financial and banking experience to customers. Previously, she was an Assistant Vice President at JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America. Raluca is highly organized and detailed-oriented, bringing customers loan options that align specifically with their goals. She also supports the rest of the team with document collection and review that streamlines the process for fast closings.

Heather Brunetti

Heather loves helping people! How can she help YOU get to that ‘Clear to Close’? She is a highly motivated and experienced mortgage underwriter and loan partner with a proven track record of success. With a wide range of experience in the mortgage industry, she is proficient in all aspects of the loan process and beyond the CTC.

Ramy Girgis

Ramy is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 25 years of diverse industry experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Cairo University. His deep understanding of the real estate market, coupled with his business and financial acumen, enabled him to identify lucrative opportunities and create thriving ventures.

As a Loan Officer, Ramy guides and empowers clients through the complex process of obtaining mortgage loans, ensuring with clear and transparent communication that they receive personalized solutions tailored to their needs. Ramy has garnered a reputation for his professionalism and integrity by providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients, earning their trust and loyalty.

Ramy is also actively engaged in his community and is an active member of the Coptic Orthodox Church.

Jen Gonczeruk

Jen Gonczeruk is an experienced and highly personable Loan Officer with over 20 years of expertise in the mortgage industry.

Prior to joining The Mortgage Architects, Jen held positions as a Sr. Loan Officer at Barton Hills Mortgage, a Sr. Mortgage Consultant at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and First Horizon Home Loans, and a Loan Consultant at Countrywide Home Loans.

Jen’s extensive experience in loan structuring, pricing, and documentation makes her a valuable asset to any homebuyer looking to secure a mortgage.

Sarah Johnson

Sarah is a seasoned Mortgage Expert who brings vast experience as both a Processor and Underwriter. These have given her a deep understanding of diverse loan products and Sarah is committed to fostering financial inclusivity with a high value for loyalty and the importance of diversification.

She is a devoted spouse and proud parent to three sons, along with a cherished cat and two dogs. Her passions include literature, history, crafting and photography.

Liz Rosario Ortiz

Building on over a decade of experience in the real estate industry, Liz Ortiz is a dynamic force at The Mortgage Architects. As a loan officer, Liz seamlessly blends her extensive real estate knowledge with her tech acumen, backed by a BS in Computer Science, and minors in Math and Spanish. Liz is bilingual and passionate about bridging communication gaps.
